In one of our recent publications we looked at public sources of personal information that can be used to launch re-identification attacks on anonymized databases (click here for the article).
As part of that study we contacted the ministries in Ontario to get a list of the databases that they release to the general public or make publicly available. We were unable to get such a list. However, we were able to get a list of the databases that are maintained by the government that contain personal health information, whether health care related or not.
